Message I really regret removing my EGR system. I might have to go back and install it. I barely passed last time, and this time I failed pretty badly.

The HC and CO levels are fine, its the NO readings that are killing me.

Here is the readings:

15 MPH:
Max: 483 Ave: 102 Measured: 701
25 MPH:
Max: 494 Ave 83 Measured: 891

Last time for smog I barely passed by hitting the max levels.

Timing is at 15 degrees. Z was only driven for 20 minutes prior and had sat for two weeks with the battery disconnected. Oil has roughly 2,500 miles on it. Air filter is new, O2 sensors have only 3000 miles on them. I have the stock CATs and I am running an SZ tune.

Any recommendations on what I need to do to make it pass? I really don't want to registered it as Planned Non Op till I have the time to install the EGR.

Thanks.

I have nightmares about that happening...I'd be the poor bastard you'd hear about on the news that gets killed by a softball-size chunk while spreading out my body over the hood and screaming "Nooo!" (Having a conversation about hail damage) - BradZ (FL) on March 25, 2005 at 9:56 PM

Tell your friend that you could take a dump, light it on fire and that would be hotter shit than his car. Probes suck, that's just all there is to it. - 300ZXpert (someday) on April 04, 2005 at 11:35 PM

P.S. You REALLY are on here at ALL hours! And I thought I was bad! :) - zmenon on August 16, 2005 at 3:06 AM
